Renault 30 TS

This Renault 30 TS was built from a Heller plastic kit.

It had been quite some time since I had worked on a plastic model kit, so I used this project to explore how the techniques I normally apply to metal and resin kits could be adapted to a plastic kit.

Numerous modifications and additional details were incorporated throughout the build. Many of these changes are subtle in the completed model, but they involved applying the same approach to preparation, finishing, and detailing that I use for my 1/43 scale metal and resin models.

This project provided an opportunity to approach a plastic kit from a different perspective, using techniques developed through my previous model-building experience.
