Ferrari 642 #28 Jean Alesi

Description

This Ferrari 642 was built alongside Alain Prost’s version as part of a simultaneous two-car project.

Building two Formula One cars at the same time allowed me to compare each stage of the process side by side, from preparation and painting to final assembly. While it was an interesting and rewarding experience, it also highlighted how much additional planning and organization such an approach requires.

This model represents Jean Alesi’s Ferrari 642, capturing another driver who played an important role in Ferrari’s 1991 Formula One season. Although both cars shared the same basic specification, each developed its own character as the project progressed.

Completing both models gave me a great sense of achievement. At the same time, the experience convinced me that I prefer concentrating on one project at a time, allowing me to focus my attention on every detail from start to finish.
