Toleman TG185 #19 Teo Fabi

Built from a Tameo Kits 1/43 scale kit, this Toleman TG185 represents Teo Fabi’s #19 car from the 1985 German Grand Prix.

The TG185 features a distinctive Benetton livery with national flags across the bodywork, giving the car a unique appearance among Formula One cars of the period. For this build, I focused on the body finish, proportions, and overall stance of the car.

At the 1985 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, Teo Fabi qualified on pole position in the #19 TG185. It was the first and only pole position achieved by Toleman in Formula One.

The TG185 was also the final Formula One car produced under the Toleman name before the team became Benetton Formula for the 1986 season.
