Benetton B190 #19 Alessandro Nannini

The Benetton B190 was one of the 1/43 scale models I attempted to build when I first started working with this scale many years ago. At the time, however, I was unable to complete the model, and the project remained unfinished.

Many years later, I decided to return to the same car and build it again. Revisiting a model that I had once been unable to complete gave me an opportunity to approach the project with the techniques and experience I had developed over the years.

This model represents the #19 Benetton B190 driven by Alessandro Nannini during the 1990 Formula One season. Nannini achieved several podium finishes with the B190, including second place at the German Grand Prix and third at the San Marino and Spanish Grands Prix.

Completing the B190 many years after my first attempt made this model a particularly meaningful project in my collection.
