Benetton B186 Mexico GP
Description
The Benetton B186 Mexico Grand Prix version was built from the Tameo Kits 1/43 scale kit.
Although I own B186 kits produced by M.Model, Meri Kits, and Provence Moulage, I chose the Tameo Kits version for this project. It was interesting to compare the different interpretations of the same Formula One car by various manufacturers.
Unlike many of my recent projects, this model was completed with very few additional modifications or detail-up parts. Instead, I focused on achieving a clean and accurate finish while making the most of the original kit’s quality.
The project was temporarily put aside during production and was eventually completed alongside the Detroit Grand Prix version of the B186, which was released afterward. Finishing the two versions together made for an enjoyable comparison and added another memorable chapter to my Benetton collection.
