Cadillac Spider
Description
This Cadillac Spider marked my return to building a resin kit after quite some time.
One of the most demanding aspects of the project was the rivet work. Every rivet was replaced with individually embedded pins, resulting in well over one hundred rivets throughout the model. In addition to standard rivets, different pin types were used to reproduce the distinctive slotted fasteners found on the original car.
Custom-made decals were also incorporated, and considerable effort was invested in refining details such as the dashboard and rear license plate area. While many of these modifications may not be immediately noticeable, they contributed significantly to the overall realism and accuracy of the finished model.
The completed work received highly positive feedback from modelers overseas, making the project especially rewarding. Looking back, it was a challenging build that required a great deal of patience and dedication.
And one final comment: I was exhausted!
