Ferrari F2005 Torino Olympic Luca Badoer

Description

This model represents the Ferrari F2005 in the special livery used during the opening ceremony of the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, where the car was driven by Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer.

The model was built using a Tameo Kits kit as the base, combined with separately sourced decals to reproduce the distinctive Torino Olympic livery.

One of the main modifications was made to the front wing. The kit provides a three-element flap configuration, while the car used at the opening ceremony featured a two-element arrangement. The flaps were therefore modified from three elements to two, with their shapes also adjusted to match the actual car.

Another detail specific to this version is the tire sidewall markings. I designed and produced custom decals for the model based on the markings seen on the actual car.

These modifications allowed me to reproduce the distinctive appearance of the Torino Olympic F2005 while retaining the Tameo kit as the basis of the build.
