Ligier JS17 #26 Jacques Laffite

This Ligier JS17 #26 was built as a 1/43 scale model of Jacques Laffite’s car from the 1981 Formula One season.

The distinctive light blue body was painted using Zero Paints Ligier Blue for the JS11, which provided a suitable tone for reproducing the characteristic Ligier color.

For the front and rear wings, silver was applied first, followed by a light coat of semi-gloss clear to reproduce the metallic finish and subtle surface texture.

Several details were added to the model, including exhaust pipe fasteners, hoses around the rear end, and additional bonnet pins.

The Ligier JS17 is characterized by its distinctive proportions, clean body lines, and light blue color scheme, all of which were important elements in reproducing the appearance of the car in 1/43 scale.
