Ligier JS33 #25 René Arnoux

Description

The Ligier JS33 was built as both a completed model and a technical study for future projects.

One of the primary objectives of this build was to evaluate the distinctive Gitanes blue livery. For this project, I used the Gitanes color produced by Zero Paints, with the intention of applying the results to a future build of the Ligier JS31.

Another important aspect was the use of 3D printing. The mirrors supplied with the kit did not accurately match the real car, so I designed and produced replacement parts using a 3D printer to improve both the shape and overall realism.

Although the modifications were subtle, they significantly enhanced the finished appearance while providing valuable experience with new techniques and materials.

After completing the model, Mr. Luca Tameo personally requested photographs of the finished work. The model was subsequently featured on the official Tameo Kits website, making this another memorable project in my ongoing relationship with Tameo Kits.
