McLaren MP4/2B
Description
This McLaren MP4/2B #2 was built as a 1/43 scale model of Alain Prost’s 1985 Formula One car.
This was my second full-detail build, with particular attention given to the mechanical components beneath the removable bodywork.
The plug covers were newly designed and produced using a 3D printer. Additional wiring was also added throughout the engine bay to reproduce more of the mechanical detail of the original car.
For this project, I focused on the engine and surrounding components while maintaining the proportions and overall balance of the model.
