Lotus 95T #12 Nigel Mansell

The Lotus 95T was built from a 1/43 scale Tameo Kits kit and was my first Formula One model finished in the black and gold John Player Special livery.

The simple color scheme and relatively uncluttered sponsor graphics give the Lotus 95T a distinctive appearance characteristic of the period. For this build, I focused on the body finish, proportions, and overall stance of the car.

Nigel Mansell drove the #12 Lotus 95T during the 1984 Formula One season. He finished third at both the French and Dutch Grands Prix and took pole position at the Dallas Grand Prix.

After completing the model, I was asked by Tameo to provide photographs of the finished work. The model was subsequently featured on the official Tameo Kits website.
